Bookline H1 revenue jumps 62%

First-half revenues of online bookseller Bookline jumped 62% to Ft 1.45 billion year-on-year earlier as the company expanded its product offering.

Bookline booked first-half losses of Ft 52 million and negative EBITDA of Ft 18 million. Both figures were nearly level with the same period a year earlier. Operating losses grew 30% to Ft 73 million.

Bookline had total assets of Ft 1.86 million on June 30, 2008, 15% less than twelve months earlier. Net assets jumped to Ft 1.45 billion from Ft 252 million, reflecting a capital raise carried out in H2 2007 and liabilities dropped 81% to Ft 377 million.
