Bombardier MAV revenue reaches HUF 8.8bn in 2011

Bombardier MAV, a joint venture of Canadian engineering giant Bombardier and Hungary’s state-owned railway company MAV, had revenue of HUF 8.8bn in 2011, managing director Peter Orban told MTI.

Exports, to Belgium, Switzerland, Austria, Norway and Italy, generated about half of revenue.

Bombardier MAV employs 630 people.

Bombardier owns 65% of the company, MAV 25% and employees 10%.
