BA deal to be closed by the end of year

Budapest Airport Rt's privatisation tender received bids of more than Ft 400 billion, Népszabadság said on Thursday. The highest bids were those of UK's BAA Plc and German Hochtief AG's. State privatisation agency ÁPV said the offers were looked at on Wednesday but declined to give any further details. ÁPV said it will announce within the next two weeks which was the winning bid and close the deal by the end of the year.
