Average salary grows by 5.5% in Jan-July period

Average salaries have grown by 5.5% in January-July this year, compared to the same period of last year, the Central Statistics Office (KSH) announced. The consumer price index was 2.6% in the same period, KSH said. Gross average salaries increased by 7.4%, while net salaries grew by 8.2% in this period, KSH said. The gross average salary of full-time employees was Ft 167,600, but those working for budget-financed institutions earned Ft 197,800 on average. (Világgazdaság)
