ÁPV board discusses Airport contract

Tourism

The board of the State Privatization and Holding Rt (ÁPV) discussed several drafts of contracts for the privatization of Budapest Airport at a meeting yesterday, ÁPV announced. The announcement did not reveal whether the board had approved a final contract for the sale, as expected. But it said the board had confirmed a decision made a week earlier that a bid by UK airport operator BAA International was the best. The board also voiced its support for negotiations between BAA and the Treasury Assets Directorate (KVI) on finalizing the contracts.
