TOO SMALL, DO NOT USE

Emerging market analysts based in London estimate consumer prices fell 0.5-1.1% year-on-year in Hungary in March, Hungarian news agency MTI said yesterday.

The estimates, unusually wide in range, depended on how much weight the analysts attributed to the disinflationary impact of the stronger forint or to the inflationary pressure of base effects.

The Central Statistics Office (KSH) is scheduled to publish March CPI today. In February, CPI was down 1.0% year-on-year.
