Tourism

Reservations for 420,000 guest nights have been made for the three-day Pentecost weekend, suggesting commercial accommodations in Hungary will be "fully booked" over the holiday, the Hungarian Tourism Agency said, according to hirado.hu.

Around 70% of the bookings are for accommodation in locations other than Budapest, with Lake Balaton the most popular destination.

Bookings by foreign visitors account for 37% of the total, but 67% of reservations in the capital, which is hosting the UEFA Europa League soccer final on May 31 between Sevilla and Roma.
