14.6% increase in Provident Pénzügyi clientele in ‘13

Sub-prime lender Provident Pénzügyi had 307,000 clients at the end of 2013, 14.6% more than a year earlier, business daily Napi Gazdaság reported this morning.

Client numbers have reached pre-crisis levels, company CEO Botond Szirmák told the ‘paper.

Outlays rose 21.3% to £138.5 million last year.

In 2014, the lender aims to raise its number of clients by 8% to 9% and outlays by 5%.

Provident Pénzügyi writes down about 12% of its clients’ loans.
