New regional tenders announced

In the frame of the New Hungary Development Plan, the National Development Agency announced ten new regional tenders with a combined value of Ft 20 billion (€81 million, $112 million) last Friday.
Municipalities from the Northern Great Plains, Western Transdanubia, Central Hungary and Central Transdanubia may apply for a total of Ft 6.5 billion ($36.5 million) for bicycle road development from August 15. Local councils from Central Hungary and two regions in the Great Plains will have access to state funding with a combined value of Ft 10 billion ($56 million) for road development. Municipalities in the Southern Great Plains, Central Hungary and Southern Transdanubia may submit bids for 280 accessibility projects with a total value of 3.4 billion. (Magyar Hirlap)
