New advertising code of ethics signed

Hungarian advertising industry insiders signed an updated code of ethics in Budapest today. The agreement will help protect children from ads targeted at them and also includes criteria for cosmetics advertising as well as regulations governing targeted ads, Hungarian news agency MTI reported.
Altogether 22 organizations signed the new code that takes effect on June 30. The signing was held under the coordination of the industry's self-governing body ORT and its professional association MRSZ.
