NAV raises ‘ekho’ income threshold

The Simplified Public Contribution, better known by its Hungarian acronym as ekho, saw the rise of its income threshold for taxpayers from HUF 25 mln to HUF 60 mln, the National Tax and Customs Authority (NAV) announced today.
Taxpayers who make their living as artists, journalists or athletes can opt to pay ekho contributions.
