MTV may get exempt of Ft 4 bln debt

According to the latest plans, the government is planning on letting go of the Ft 4 billion debt of the MTV.

The budget amendment, submitted last weekend and currently awaiting approval from the Parliament would increase the central budget deficit to Ft 1921 billion and the social security funds to Ft 158 billion.

According to the latest plans, the government is planning on letting go of the Ft 4 billion debt of the Public Television (MTV). At the same time, and despite earlier projections, the privatization of MÁV Cargo Zrt will not take place this year. Furthermore, it will not be sold by the State Privatization and Holding (ÁPV) Rt but by the state train company MÁV Zrt itself. (Vilåggazdasåg)
