Hungary to create basket of 'national products'

Hungary's national consumer protection agency NFH launches an initiative to create a basket of "national products" guaranteed to be of high quality, agency chief István Pintér said.
The symbolic basket of products, based on a similar one in Sweden, would be refreshed every quarter, István Pintér said.
The agency earlier sent a survey to Hungarian households to help it draw up a consumer protection strategy. Responses so far show about 85% of people want to see a "Consumer-Friendly" label introduced.
