Hungary cbank recommends merger with financial market watchdog
The National Bank of Hungary on Thursday said it proposes a merger between the central bank and financial market watchdog PSzÁF. "With the aim of developing a more efficient supervisory structure the MNB recommends to strengthen the macroprudential framework and to integrate the supervisory authority into the central bank," the MNB said in a statement published on its website.
