Hollóháza-based china maker sold - Hungary
The smaller of the porcelain manufacturers in Hollóháza, Hutschenreuther Hungária Porcelángyár (HHP) Kft has finally been sold, following 14 failed attempts.
According to the daily Napi Gazdaság, the buyer is Royal Martin Kft, a company added to the local registry last December, which – among other activities – manufactures and trades porcelain goods. Cash & Limes Zrt, the liquidator of HHP aimed to collect Ft 116 million ($640000) for the property and the equipment, but reports say it had to settle for a lower, unspecified sum. The starting price was Ft 200 million, which was gradually dropped following repeated failures to sell the company. The new, Slovakian owners will provide jobs for 2050 people, said Mayor of Hollóháza, Sándor Koleszár. (Napi Gazdaság)
