The Hungarian Investment Promotion Agency (HIPA) and the Hungarian Energy and Utilities Regulatory Office (MEKH) announced that they signed an agreement today to make the country more attractive for investors by facilitating better energy services for businesses.

As a result of the cooperation, investors can receive professional assistance in the field of energetics, according to a joint announcement from the two government-funded organizations. The announcement said the organizations can offer investors the possibility of better planning and easier realization of projects.

Today, offering energy at a competitive price is not sufficient anymore, but the continuity of energy supply, the system’s condition and also the service’s quality is becoming more and more important, MEKH President Lajos Dorkota said.

The selection of services provided by HIPA to foreign investors is expanding thanks to the cooperation with MEKH, HIPA President László Ésik said.
