H1 results support MAVIR full-year revenue target

Hungarian transmission system operator MAVIR expects to meet its annual revenue target - revenues of more than Ft 90 billion - based on H1 results, CEO Gábor Tari told MTI.

MAVIR has sufficient electricity reserves - 1,350 MW, as required by regulations - even considering higher demand for air conditioners, Tari said. He added that consumption this summer had not reached the all-time peak of 6,320 MW reached last year.

MAVIR published just a few days earlier a tender to provide reserves - as well as electricity necessary for regulation and to cover network losses - in 2009, Tari said. (MTI – Econews)
