Forint strengthens on interbank market

The forint strengthened on Monday's interbank market, trading at 314.10 to the euro at 5:20 p.m., compared to a rate of 314.93 at 5:20 p.m. on Friday, Hungarian news agency MTI reported.

The forint also strengthened to the Swiss franc and the US dollar on Monday, trading at 259.55 to the CHF and 242.57 to the dollar at 5:20 p.m., compared to rates of 260.23 and 243.23, respectively, at 5:20 p.m. on Friday.
