Forint strengthens on interbank market

The forint strengthened on Monday morning's interbank market, trading at 268.05 to the euro at 10:15 a.m., compared to a rate of 268.46 at 5:25 p.m. on Friday.
Dealers attribute the forint's strengthening to a reduction in risk-aversion among traders stemming from the conclusion in the US Congress of an agreement to raise the country's debt ceiling.
The forint also strengthened against the US dollar and the Swiss franc on Monday morning, trading at 185.89 to the USD and 234.57 to the CHF at 10:15 a.m., compared to rates of 186.39 and 236.75, respectively, at 5:25 p.m. on Friday
