Forint strengthens as outlook for Hungary, eurozone improves
The forint continued to strengthen on Thursday morning’s interbank market, trading at 303.47 to the euro at 10:15 a.m., compared to a rate of 305.44 at 5:45 p.m. on Wednesday.
Dealers attribute the rebound of the forint, which has strengthened from around a rate of around 308.50 against the euro on Tuesday evening, to an improvement in sentiment among traders with regard to both Hungary and the euro-zone.
