KÉSZ spending HUF 2.5bn on hotel, conference centre in Kecskemét

KÉSZ Ipari Park on Thursday said it is spending HUF 2.5bn to transform an office building into a four-star hotel and build on a conference centre.
The 136-room hotel will operate as a member of the Four Points by Sheraton chain when completed in the spring of 2013.
The HUF 1.8bn cost of the hotel is supported by a HUF 450m European Union grant. KÉSZ was awarded a HUF 273m EU grant for the HUF 546m conference centre.
KÉSZ had revenue of HUF 70bn in 2010. The company has more than 1,300 staff, including headcount at units in neighboring countries.
