Hard Rock Hotel Opens 'Star Chalet' for Winter Season

Hotels

As the festive season approaches, Hard Rock Hotel Budapest will offer guests an immersive gastronomic experience in its Star Chalet winter wonderland, where they can sip on a soul-warming hot chocolate with a roaring fireplace or taste the hotel's special drinks created for cold days, available until February 15, 2023.

With the winter season and the holidays approaching, the passage section of the hotel has been revamped to become a music-inspired winter destination in the heart of the city. Christened the "Star Chalet", the world features cozy seating areas, soft, warm glowing lights, an outdoor fireplace, and festive decorations for guests and passers-by looking for a respite from the hustle and bustle of the capital.

Inspired by local classics, the menu will feature bites such as toasted almonds and a reimagined fritter with exciting toppings to suit the occasion. Those with a sweet tooth can even try the spicy chocolate and fruit fondue, combined with fresh, crunchy fruit or marshmallows to taste.

The experience will also feature a specially curated playlist of classic Christmas tunes and modern hits with live performances of familiar tunes throughout December, performed by small bands and invited DJs.

"It's a fantastic feeling to be able to work all year round at Hard Rock to create exciting, unique experiences for our guests, with music and fun at the heart of it all. When creating the Star Chalet, we were also motivated by creating an intimate, sophisticated experience and environment where visitors can fully immerse themselves in the magic of the holiday. The 'Star Chalet' is guaranteed to become one of Budapest's must-visit destinations in the coming months," said Graham Kiy, vice president, Hard Rock Hotels EMEA.

SUPPORT THE BUDAPEST BUSINESS JOURNAL

Producing journalism that is worthy of the name is a costly business. For 27 years, the publishers, editors and reporters of the Budapest Business Journal have striven to bring you business news that works, information that you can trust, that is factual, accurate and presented without fear or favor.
Newspaper organizations across the globe have struggled to find a business model that allows them to continue to excel, without compromising their ability to perform. Most recently, some have experimented with the idea of involving their most important stakeholders, their readers.
We would like to offer that same opportunity to our readers. We would like to invite you to help us deliver the quality business journalism you require. Hit our Support the BBJ button and you can choose the how much and how often you send us your contributions.
