Danubius Hotels to spend HUF 7 bln on renovations in Hungary

Hungaryʼs Danubius Hotels plans to spend close to HUF 7 billion on renovations in Hungary this year, the company told Hungarian news agency MTI today.
Danubius Hotels is renovating 136 rooms at the Hilton and 78 rooms at its hotel on Margaret Island in the capital, PR Director Mónika Fodor-Kassai told MTI. It is renovating 32 rooms at the Aqua Hotel in the spa town of Hévíz, she added.
Last year, Danubius Hotels spent HUF 3.5 bln on renovations in Hungary. The biggest project was at the Hilton Budapest, but renovations also took place on Margaret Island and in Hévíz.
Danubius Hotels has 23 hotels in Hungary, eight in Czech Republic, twelve in Slovakia and three in Romania.
