Lóránt Kibédi Varga is new Dutchcham chairman

Lóránt Kibédi Varga was appointed chairman of the Netherlands-Hungarian Chamber of Commerce, and Frido Diepeveen the vice-chairman yesterday, according to a press release issued today.
Varga (pictured, left) has been the acting vice-chairman and charity manager of the chamber’s board since he joined more than a decade ago, the press release said. With the assistance of Varga, the chamber participated in the construction of the Habitat for Humanity project in 2004 and 2006, made significant contributions to the Heim Pál Children’s Hospital Development Foundation in 2005, and supported the Autifarm at Csókakő. He also played a significant role in the Let’s Colour project, painting buildings and planting Tulips at various locations, according to the press release.
Varga, who is also the managing director of CBRE Hungary, has brought his real estate expertise to the Dutcham by hosting and organizing the Annual Real Estate Seminar to share the latest trends and figures with other members of the chamber.
