The yearly International Travel Exhibition and Boat Show will run this February 21-24 at the Hungexpo Budapest Fair Center (1101 Budapest, Albertirsai út 10). Three hundred exhibitors from 30 countries will present their offerings, with Algeria and Bács-Kiskun County the guests of honor this year.

Among other attractions, the biggest travel show in Hungary boasts an "Active Island," where visitors have a fun opportunity to discover the most beautiful parts of Hungary virtually.

The National Castle and Fortress Program will be the cultural focus, where visitors can learn about new projects, presenting tourist destinations in Hungary. The Karavan Salon will present a large selection of the newest caravans.

The country’s biggest boat show will present 110 boats from 83 exhibitors, with Fertő Lake on the border of Hungary and Austria the special guest.

Since January 1, 2019, events at the Hungexpo Budapest Fair Center are cashless, where everything must be paid for by card, including the entrance fee. The only exceptions are a few exhibitors’ stalls, where visitors can still use cash.

SUPPORT THE BUDAPEST BUSINESS JOURNAL

Producing journalism that is worthy of the name is a costly business. For 27 years, the publishers, editors and reporters of the Budapest Business Journal have striven to bring you business news that works, information that you can trust, that is factual, accurate and presented without fear or favor.
Newspaper organizations across the globe have struggled to find a business model that allows them to continue to excel, without compromising their ability to perform. Most recently, some have experimented with the idea of involving their most important stakeholders, their readers.
We would like to offer that same opportunity to our readers. We would like to invite you to help us deliver the quality business journalism you require. Hit our Support the BBJ button and you can choose the how much and how often you send us your contributions.
