Tile manufacturer Mediterran expects 6-8% revenue increase in 2015
Roof tile manufacturer Mediterran Magyarország expects revenue to climb 6-8% this year as it expands output, managing director Attila Godi said yesterday. Although precise data on last year's revenue are not yet available, Godi said turnover "rose significantly" over the previous year's HUF 6.5 bln.
Production volume increased by 3 million to 33 million tiles last year. This year, the company expects to turn out 36 million tiles. Mediterran has two plants in Hungary and one in Slovakia with a combined annual capacity of 60 million tiles. The company employs 180 people and controls about 40% of the Hungarian market.
