Expenditures of Hungarian families on holiday this summer is expected to reach an average HUF 151,000, which is 28% more than last summer, a representative survey by Budapest Bank revealed today, according to Hungarian news agency MTI.

Some 22% of those who go on holiday will spend less than HUF 50,000, while 23% are expected to spend more than HUF 200,000, according to the survey.

Only half of Hungarian households are planning to go on holidays this summer, with approximately one-quarter planning to spend their holidays at the seaside.

It was reported earlier this week that fewer Hungarians are planning travel for their holidays due to limited disposable income.
