Roto Frank to expand Lövő base in Hungary

German-based hardware manufacturer Roto Frank AG is expanding its production capacity in Lövő (Western Hungary / Győr-Moson-Sopron county).

With the over €17 million ($23.1 million) investment to be completed by the end of 2008, Roto Elzett Certa Kft is to become the production unit with the biggest capacity in Europe, said Eckhard Keill, chair of Roto Frank group. The new, 4,700 square meter production hall recently finished has been installed spending €2.8 million ($3.8 million). The number of staff will increase from 525 to over 700, and more products will be rolled out at the Lövő site.

Roto Elzett is exporting to countries outside the EU as well, for instance South America, China and Russia, and expecting Ft 27 billion (€105 million, $143 million, net income for 2007. (Napi Gazdaság)
