PM sees chance for farm sector to appreciate

The debt crisis in the eurozone may be the cause of much damage, but it brings with it the chance for Hungary's farm and food industries to grow in value, Prime Minister Viktor said at the opening of National Farm and Food Industry Exhibition (OMEK) in Budapest on Wednesday.
Industry is important, and work must be done on Hungary's industrialization program, but industry cannot squeeze out the farm sector, it may only coexist with it, Orbán said. The farm sector offers a great opportunity for Hungary, he added.
Hungarian farmers have to supply high quality food, but it should also be processed in Hungary, because that will create jobs, he said.
