Penzügykutató puts GDP growth at 3.1% in 2014
Economic researcher Penzügy-kutató projects Hungary's GDP growth will reach 3.1% this year – in line with the government forecast – then slow to 2.3% in 2015.
Penzügykutató advisor Éva Várhegyi said economic growth was supported by favorable external and domestic tendencies this year, particularly investments and consumption.
She attributed a large part of this year's growth to one-off factors and said the pace would slow in 2015. Penzügykutató puts average annual inflation at 0.1% this year and 2.4% next year.
