MOL makes another discovery in Pakistan

Hungarian oil and gas company MOL made new gas discoveries in Pakistan, the gas company announced yesterday, according to Hungarian news agency MTI.

An exploration well in the TAL block, which MOL operates, flowed gas at a rate of 2,300 barrels of oil equivalent per day during testing. 

Gross production at the TAL block stands at over 80,000 barrels of oil equivalent per day.

The discovery is MOLʼs ninth in the TAL block and its thirteenth in Pakistan.

MOLʼs partners in the block are OGDC, PPL, POL and GHPL.

Average daily hydrocarbon production of all of MOLʼs licenses reached 103,900 barrels of oil equivalent per day last year.
