Kayser Automotive Hungária spending HUF 660m on expansion

German-owned Hungarian automotive industry supplier Kayser Automotive Hungária is spending HUF 660m on an expansion that will give it the capacity to fill orders for two of carmaker Daimler's plants, managing director Ivo Nemes told MTI.
The 3,200sqm production hall Kayser is building will double production area. The hall is to be completed by the end of the year.
Kayser Automotive Hungaria will make 20 new hires to work in the production hall. Eighty people work at Kayser Automotive Hungaria at present, but headcount could rise to 180 if full capacity is reached, Nemes said.
Kayser Automotive Hungaria makes mainly plastic parts for engines. The unit had revenue of €7.3m in 2010, well under the €9.7m in 2007, the year before the crisis.
