IKEA Hungary sales edge up to HUF 34.2 billion in 2011/12

Sales of Swedish home furnishings company IKEA in Hungary edged up 1% to HUF 34.2 billion in the business year ended August 31, IKEA regional director Marek Feltl said at a press conference in Budapest on Wednesday. IKEA stores in Hungary drew 4.6m visitors during the period. The number who purchased fell 2% to 2.5 million. The company's profit margin in Hungary was 2% in the 2011/12 business year, Feltl said, answering a question.
