Hungary retail food sales climb 5%

Retail food sales in Hungary rose 5% in value terms in the twelve months to January from the previous twelve-month period, market research company Nielsen told MTI on Thursday.

In volume terms, retail food sales were flat during the period.

Sales of the ninety products monitored by Nielsen added up to HUF 1,350 billion.
