Hungary Meat, a member of Italy’s Pini group, had revenue of HUF 74 billion in 2011, up 27% from the previous year, the company told MTI on Monday.

Hungary Meat targets revenue growth of 10-15% in 2012 as output as output climbs 5-10%, said managing director Marcello Pini. The company plans to slaughter 25,000 hogs per week this year and 30,000 in 2013, he added.

The company sells 80% of its output on export markets including Japan, Korea, Hong Kong, Taiwan, South Africa, Italy, Spain, Russia, Ukraine, Slovakia and Romania.
