German express delivery sets up unit in Hungary
German express delivery firm GO! General Overnight Service has established a unit in Hungary in assistance with Hungarian partner Road Parcel Kft, the new unit's managing director told reporters on Thursday.
The new company GO! General Overnight Hungary Logistics Kft will begin its services with ten regional depots, 170 employees and 90 vehicles, Attila Dudás said. The unit envisages delivering 111 packages a day this year, with plans to expand its daily delivery to 251 by the end of 2008 and 500 by late 2009, he said.
The company expects revenues close to Ft 140 million (€524,300) in 2007, reaching about Ft 400 million (€1.5 million) in 2008 and Ft 800 million (€3 million) in 2009, Dudás said.
