Gallicoop spends more than HUF 300 mln on development

Hungarian poultry processor Gallicoop Pulykafeldolgozó, based in Szarvas, southeastern Hungary, has completed developments valued at HUF 328 million to improve efficiency and increase capacity at its feed mixing plant, the company told Hungarian news agency MTI yesterday.

Production capacity has increased by 14,000 tons a year as a result of the expansion of storage capacities, chairman-CEO István Erdelyi said.

Gallicoop had revenue of HUF 33.6 billion last year, up 4% from a year earlier, and it employs more than 900 workers.
