Fruit, vegetable prices steadily high
Fruit and vegetable prices increased by 18.1% on the year in December, hardly changing from the 18.5% rise registered in November, the Central Statistics Office (KSH) said. In annual terms, fruit and vegetable prices rose 17.8% in 2012, while animal-based food products’ prices rose by 11.0%.
