Dreher Breweries to launch ANTL New England IPA

Dreher Breweries has announced that it will launch a brand new New England IPA under the ANTL brand this summer.

As in the case of the previous two ANTL beers (English Style Summer Ale, Vienna Style Lager), the new specialty will be available only on tap at select pubs in and around Budapest. The brewery says that it expects to make the ANTL brand available at nearly 100 locations, twice as many as last year.

Last summer, Dreher Breweries opened its Brewery Workshop, which operates independently of its historic brewhouse and headworks, with the aim of giving its experts more freedom to experiment with their latest recipes.

"Last year, we launched the ANTL brand with our Vienna Style Lager and English Style Summer Ale recipes, both of which sought to combine our heritage with fresh international trends. Our New England IPA beer, which replaces the Ale on tap, continues this trend in a more characterful form. One of the key characteristics of this style is the harmony of the hops used, with the right amounts and pairings producing very distinctive flavors. The end result is a tropical fruity and citrusy flavor bomb with a pleasantly bitter taste," said Máté Mihály, innovation Bbewer at Dreher Breweries, about his recipe.

The brewery says that its New England IPA won't be the only new addition this year, as another recipe will make its debut in the second half of 2022.
