Borsodi announces new non-alcoholic beer flavor

Drinks

Borsodi Brewery is set to add a new, pear-apple-flavored non-alcoholic product to its Borsodi Friss portfolio, according to a press release sent to the Budapest Business Journal.

Borsodi Friss has so far been available in lemon, grapefruit, elderflower-lemon, and raspberry-blueberry flavors. The new, pear-apple-flavored alcohol-free beer will be available on the shelves this month.

The brewery first introduced the Borsodi Friss range of flavored beers in 2011.

Zsolt Vuleta, managing director and commercial director of Borsodi Brewery, said, "Borsodi Friss is now a classic Borsodi product, with which we created a new category a decade ago. Following its launch, we have continuously monitored consumer feedback and expanded the product range accordingly. Last year, we did not only revamp the entire Borsodi Friss brand, but the recipe as well and introduced 0.0% versions. Looking back over the past 10 years, it is fair to say that the Borsodi Friss family is a dominant member of the Borsodi portfolio."
