OTP buys almost HUF 800 mln of treasury shares

OTP Bank bought 114,000 treasury shares on the Budapest Stock Exchange (BSE) for about HUF 789 million Wednesday, a disclosure released today shows, according to Hungarian news agency MTI.

OTP Bank paid an average of HUF 6,922 per share. 

The purchase accounted for a little more than one-tenth of total share turnover on the bourse Wednesday. 

After the transaction, OTP Bankʼs treasury share stock rose to 3,769,400 shares, or 1.35% of share capital.
