New labor code to protect soon-to-be-retired and pregnant women

The first round of consultations on Hungary's new draft labor code has ended, the National Economy Ministry announced.
The draft version incorporates the institution of protected age, extends pregnancy and maternity rights at work as well as employee rights. According to the new version, holiday entitlements will not decrease by age.
Consultation will continue with the representatives of trade unions in August 11.The government will finalize the draft version this fall.
