A GMO working group, set up by the government to enforce regulations concerning GMO-free agriculture in Hungary, held its first session on Tuesday, the Ministry of Rural Development announced.
The GMO working group was established by a government resolution, the official gazette Magyar Közlöny revealed on Monday.
The minister of rural development has appointed the head of the working group, while six other government ministries delegated one member each to the body.
Members of the group are unpaid.
