Centenary of Coca-Cola’s contour bottle inspires designers

To celebrate the 100th anniversary of Coca-Cola’s contour bottle, five Hungarian design companies, each with a distinct style, have been selected to use the iconic bottle design as inspiration for several pieces, according to a press release issued yesterday.
Among the designers are Anna Baróthy and Bálint Tóth of Szövetség’39, Dávid Pataki of PDSIGN, Balázs Antal of Baantal Design, Gabriella Veszprémi and Zsófia Lévai of KOMOD, and Péter Toronyi of Papr!kum.
Using the contour bottle as inspiration, the designers created an interactive chandelier, a floor lamp, chess pieces, a neon display and a message bottle.
