U.S. Embassy, Red Cross organize 9/11 memorial blood drive
On the 17th anniversary of 9/11, the U.S. Embassy and the Hungarian Red Cross are organizing a blood drive to honor the victims of the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001, and to commemorate U.S. Patriot Day and the National Day of Service and Remembrance.
The event will take place at the Hungarian Red Cross Budapest Headquarters (5th district, Arany János u. 31). The blood drive will run from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. next Tuesday, September 11, 2018.
Registration is mandatory, by sending an e-mail by 4 p.m. on Monday, September 10, to Anna Katona (firstname.lastname@example.org). Further information and arrival times will be provided to those who register.
Soft drinks and meal vouchers will be provided to blood donors by Burger King and Coca Cola.
