Award-winning global content production company TheSoul Publishing is set to open its newest studio in the Dorottya Udvar in Budapest's District XI, with the aim of bringing more fun, positive and original videos to their audience, according to a press release sent to the Budapest Business Journal.

TheSoul Publishing is advertising 120 new positions at its Budapest headquarters to run its studio and offices, in roles such as video production, design, IT, office management, operations, and HR.

The company's Budapest studio will focus in part on the company's existing platforms, including the 5-Minute Crafts channel, which has become a global phenomenon. It will also host a number of experimental and startup projects in virtual reality, video games, animation and digital music.

In 2021, for the second year in a row, TheSoul Publishing generated the most views on Facebook and YouTube video sharing platforms, according to Tubular Labs' survey. Based on viewership data, they outperformed digital content producers and well-known traditional media companies such as The Walt Disney Company, Moonburg, Sony, and WarnerMedia.

"TheSoul Publishing is growing dynamically. We are looking for the best locations for studio expansions and Budapest has proven to be the perfect location in many ways, as we have found a great creative community here. The new studio will play a key role in our future growth as we continue to entertain billions of people around the world," said Arthur Mamedov, chief operating officer of TheSoul Publishing.

"We added over a thousand people to our team last year and we're looking forward to hiring more. Our state-of-the-art studio in Budapest will certainly attract talent from the region. It's investments like these that keep TheSoul at the forefront of the industry and the only way to break new ground in the digital space," said Aleksandra Sulimko, HR manager.

TheSoul Publishing is headquartered in Cyprus with international offices in the United Kingdom, Latvia, and the United States. The company employs more than 2,700 people in 70 countries.
