More than 360 institutions have joined the Night of the Museums cultural event and will remain open late into the evening on June 20, offering visitors a host of unique programs, the Ministry of Human Resources announced in a press release today.

The report noted that apart from Budapest, several rural cities will also take part in the event including Eger, Debrecen, Szeged and Győr. According to the organizers, this yearʼs most significant venue will be the city of Eger, namely the Dobó István Vármúzeum.

As a follow up to last yearʼs 400,000 visitors, the organizers expect hundreds of thousands of visitors this year as well.
