The main aim of the event is to generate a new fair trade movement, where visitors can directly meet breeders and farmers from all around Hungary. The festival gives a chance for everyone to buy from producers, without the need to involve retail units and shops.
Product quality is guaranteed and controlled by the National Association of Mangalica Breeders. Alongside traditional pork products, the fair offers other Hungarian specialties such as pálinka and bakery products, as well as many kids’s programs and concerts, according to mangalicafesztival.hu.
