Hungary is among the exhibitors of the 23rd Tirana International Fair, starting today, with a 80 sqm stand, according to Hungarian news agency MTI.

Zsolt V. Németh, state secretary for environment, farming and hungaricums spoke at the opening of the four-day-day fair, the news agency noted. MTI added that the agriculture ministry and the Hungarian embassy in Tirana have just organized an event highlighting hungaricums in the framework of the international fair.

There is a long selection process to get recognized as a hungaricum, the evolutionary peak of being a uniquely Hungarian product. For a detailed report on the process, see the latest issue of the BBJ. If you run out of gift ideas, our hungaricum product hunt will give you inspiration for the upcoming holiday season.
