Budapest will host the 60th Congress of the Union Internationale des Avocats (UIA – International Association of Lawyers), from October 28 to November 1, according to a press release issued today.

The plenary session of the assembly will comprise two themes: compliance, and privacy and data protection in a digital world. More than 40 other supplementary sessions will be organized concerning business law, human rights law, arts law and many other topics.

They will be led by nearly 300 international speakers. Some sessions will have simultaneous translation in French, English and Spanish to allow for maximum engagement. Social events are scheduled to allow participants to meet and make professional contacts.
